1. 新北市政府昨天（30）在市民廣場舉辦「教育實踐年-樂活學習331」嘉年華活動，現場有超過80個終身學習體驗攤位，闖關完成就能獲得紀念品。新北市長朱立倫表示，樂齡學習讓許多銀髮族更年輕，推動「樂活學習331」就是青春不老的祕訣，包括每天閱讀30分鐘。
New Taipei City Government held a carnival "Educational Practice – Lohas learning 331 " in the Public Square with more than 80 experience booths of lifelong learning yesterday. If people were able to pass the game, they could get souvenirs. The new Taipei City Mayor Chu Li Lun said senior learning enabled more senior people younger; therefore, promoting "Lohas learning 331" is the secret of being youthful, including reading 30 minutes a day.
2. 臺中市兒童節慶祝活動昨天（30）登場，市長胡志強參加闖關活動，與學童同樂，他鼓勵家長多陪孩子，留下美好回憶。臺中市兒童藝術節主活動將於4月4號到6號連假期間，在文心森林公園規劃戲劇、舞蹈、藝術等演出，邀請大小朋友一起歡度兒童節。
Taichung City Children's Day celebrations debuted yesterday. Mayor Jason Hu attended checkpoints activities to have fun with children. He encouraged parents to spend more time with their children so as to leave beautiful memories. The main event of Taichung City Children's Arts Festival will be held during holidays from April 4 to 6 in Wenxin Forest Park with drama, dance and art performances. People of all ages are welcome to enjoy Children's Day together.
3. 反服貿學生運動擴大抗爭，昨天號召群眾走上凱道參與「330人民站出來行動譴責國家暴力」活動，從下午1時集結，晚間7時40分由學生代表林飛帆宣布活動告一段落，但占據國會無法停止。主辦單位估計今天有50萬黑衫軍湧入凱達格蘭大道；台北市政府警察局估算，反服貿330凱道遊行，活動從下午1時開始，人數最多為下午4時約11萬6000多人，到晚間7時還有5萬7000人。
The scale of student protest movement has been expanded to a mass demonstration rally yesterday and they called on people to participate in the event dubbed, “Mar.30 people standing out to condemn national violence” from 1 pm and the student leader Lin Fei-fan announced the end of the demonstration at 7:40 pm, but their occupation of the Legislature will not stop for the time being. The organizer estimated that there were over half million people took to Ketagalan Boulevard. Taipei City Police Bureau estimated that the number of people joining the demonstration was about 116,000 at most at 4 pm and 57,000 at 7 pm last night.
4. 交通部高速公路局表示，今天（31）起，交通罰單繳納期限將由原本的15天延長為30天，只要是今天（31）以後到期的罰單，都可再延長15天繳費期限，讓民眾有更寬裕的時間繳納罰鍰。民眾如有任何疑問，可向各地監理所、裁決處詢問。
National Freeway Bureau of Ministry of Transportation said that starting from today, traffic ticket payment deadline will be extended from the original 15 days to 30 days. The tickets which are expired today or after today can be extended for 15 days so that people have ample time to pay the fine. If people have any questions, they may inquire the local motor vehicles office and traffic adjudication office.
5. 配合全國菸害防制政策，明天（1）起，花蓮縣境內的國家公園、遊憩特定區，以及52處公園綠地全面禁菸，違者可處2千元以上、1萬元以下罰鍰。
With national tobacco control policy, smoking will be banned in the territory of the National Park in Hualien County, specific recreational areas, and 52 parks starting from tomorrow. Offenders will be subject to a fine of NT$2000 to NT$10,000.
6. 美國洛杉磯最近發生規模5.1的地震，再次印證美國地質調查所的地震預警系統發揮功效，提早4秒預知地牛將翻身。美國地質調查所的學者瓊斯表示，一旦開發完成，這套系統可讓洛杉磯市中心提早40到50秒知道大地震來襲，電梯就有足夠時間停在下個樓層，醫師動手術時也有足夠時間把手術刀拿出病人體外，高速列車也能避免出軌。
